Evelyn has over 30 years of experience and specializes in communication, peacemaking, and restorative justice.

Evelyn is a sought after facilitator, trainer and speaker. She has the privilege of working internationally with Indigenous Nations, governments, workplaces, justice agencies, schools and communities.

Evelyn has taught and led projects in many diverse settings, including in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Caribbean, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mozambique, Nepal, South Africa, UK, and USA. Evelyn is a published author and has presented at many forums, including the United Nations.

She earned a B.A. in psychology (McGill University), M.A. (University of Toronto) and Ph.D. (Simon Fraser University) in criminology. She learned so much backpacking around the world as a single woman.

Evelyn defies limited identity boxes or labels and is many things, including queer, a mother, and sundancer. When not working, you will find her immersed in nature and photography near her home in Vancouver on the unceded, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Evelyn was born in Ottawa on the unceded Anishinabe Algonquin territory where her immigrant parents met post WWII after coming to Canada as indentured workers.
